GENERAL TREATMENTS

Psoriasis (GENERAL TREATMENTS)

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin disorder, while Azoospermia is the absence of sperm in semen, leading to male infertility. When both occur together, they indicate deep imbalances in doshas (especially Pitta and Vata) and Dhatu depletion (especially Rasa and Shukra Dhatu). Ayurveda treats both conditions by detoxifying the system, correcting the root cause, and rejuvenating vital tissues.

Ayurvedic Treatment Approach:
1. Panchakarma (Detox Therapies)
• Virechana (therapeutic purgation): Cleanses Pitta toxins from the liver and blood, beneficial for both skin and hormonal balance
• Basti (medicated enema): Balances Vata dosha and supports reproductive health
• Raktamokshana (bloodletting): Helps clear skin toxins (used selectively)

2. Rasayana Therapy (Rejuvenation)
• Revitalizes Shukra Dhatu for sperm production
• Restores immunity and skin cell regeneration

Key Ayurvedic Herbs & Formulations:
• Ashwagandha – Reduces stress, improves sperm count and immunity
• Kaunch Beej – Stimulates spermatogenesis
• Shatavari & Safed Musli – Enhance fertility and reproductive tissue health
• Neem & Khadir – Detoxify the blood, excellent for psoriasis
• Manjistha – Purifies blood and supports healthy skin
• Triphala & Arogyavardhini Vati – Improve digestion and skin clarity

Diet & Lifestyle Guidelines:
• Include: Ghee, milk, fresh vegetables, fruits like pomegranate, almonds, whole grains
• Avoid: Spicy, oily, sour foods, red meat, alcohol, and stress
• Practice: Yoga (e.g., Sarvangasana, Bhujangasana) and Pranayama for stress relief and hormonal balance
