TREATMENT FOR WOMEN

Endometriosis (TREATMENT FOR WOMEN)

Endometriosis is a condition where endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus, leading to severe menstrual pain, pelvic inflammation, heavy bleeding, fatigue, and often infertility. In Ayurveda, it is seen as an imbalance of Vata and Pitta doshas, along with Ama (toxin) accumulation in the Artavavaha Srotas (female reproductive system).
Ayurvedic treatment aims to balance hormones, reduce inflammation, clear blockages, and rejuvenate reproductive health naturally.

Ayurvedic Treatment Approach
1. Panchakarma Therapies (Detox & Healing)
• Virechana (Purgation Therapy) – Removes Pitta toxins that cause inflammation and pain
• Basti (Medicated Enema) – Pacifies Vata, relieves pain, and strengthens reproductive organs
• Uttara Basti (special vaginal therapy) – Nourishes uterus and clears endometrial overgrowth (performed under expert supervision)

Classical Ayurvedic Herbs & Formulations
• Ashoka (Saraca indica) – Regulates menstrual bleeding and supports uterine health
• Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) – Reduces inflammation and balances hormones
• Kanchnar Guggulu – Helps reduce abnormal tissue growth and fibroids
• Shatavari – Nourishes reproductive tissues and balances female hormones
• Turmeric & Triphala – Act as natural anti-inflammatories and detoxifiers
• Punarnava – Reduces swelling and water retention

Diet & Lifestyle Recommendations
• Include: Warm, easily digestible foods, turmeric, ginger, green vegetables, whole grains
• Avoid: Cold foods, dairy, sugar, red meat, processed foods, fried and spicy items
• Practice gentle yoga like Supta Baddha Konasana, Setu Bandhasana, and daily Pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari)
• Follow a stress-free lifestyle, proper sleep routine, and regular eating schedule
