Osteo Arthritis (GENERAL TREATMENTS)

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint condition caused by Vata dosha aggravation, leading to joint pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Azoospermia, the absence of sperm in semen, results from Shukra Dhatu depletion and hormonal imbalance. When both conditions occur, Ayurveda sees it as a deep Vata imbalance affecting both joints and reproductive tissues.
Ayurvedic treatment focuses on detoxification, dosha balancing, nourishment, and tissue rejuvenation.

Ayurvedic Treatment Approach:
1. Panchakarma Therapies
• Basti (medicated enema): The most effective treatment for Vata disorders—helps both arthritis and infertility
• Abhyanga (herbal oil massage): Improves joint lubrication and relaxes the reproductive system
• Swedana (herbal steam): Relieves joint stiffness and promotes circulation
• Virechana: Detoxifies the liver and supports hormonal balance

2. Herbal Medicines
For Osteoarthritis:
• Shallaki (Boswellia) – Reduces joint inflammation and pain
